Christian de Duve had a variety of different haircuts during his lifetime. He became famous as a world-class biologist, university teacher, biochemist, scientist, professor and chemist. However, the Belgian biochemist, cytologist was especially known for his special public appearances and his likable personality. Before his tragic demise at the age of 96 he was repeatedly featured in the press because of his outstanding hair and looks.
