Diethard Hellmann had various haircuts during his lifetime. He was well recognized as a world-class conductor, choir director and university teacher. However, the German cantor, concert organist and academic was mainly known for his remarkable looks and his livable character. Before his death at age 71 he was repeatedly in the spotlight of magazines and tabloids because of his superb hairstyles.
