Erich von Falkenhayn had a variety of different haircuts during his career. He was widely celebrated as an excellent politician and officer. Nevertheless, the Chief of Germany's General Staff during the first two years of the First World War was specially known for his unique sense of fashion and his delightful character. Before his tragic demise at the age of 61 he was again and again featured in the press because of his marvelous haircuts.
