Franciscus Sylvius had a variety of different hairstyles during his career. He reached fame as a world-class art collector, physician, anatomist and university teacher. Nevertheless, the physician and chemist of Leyden, Netherlands was mainly known for his exceptional sense of fashion and his pleasant character.
