Franz Cumont had many different haircuts during his lifetime. He reached fame as a world-class curator, anthropologist, art historian, archaeologist, historian of religion, historian and university teacher. Nevertheless, the Belgian archaeologist, historian, philologist and student of epigraphy was mainly known for his incomparable sense of fashion and his delightful personality.
