Kaloyan of Bulgaria had many different haircuts during his lifetime. He became famous as a world-class sovereign. However, the Bulgarian emperor was mostly known for his extradordinary public appearances and his pleasant personality. Before his death at age 39 he was again and again talked about in magazines and tabloids because of his exceptionally hair and looks.
