Kit Carson had a variety of different hairstyles during his lifetime. He reached fame as a talented explorer, officer and reconnaissance. However, the American frontiersman and Union Army general was mostly known for his exceptional appearances and his pleasant character. Before his demise at the age of 59 he was again and again featured in magazines and tabloids due to his superb hairstyles.
