Lilian Knowles had a variety of different haircuts during her lifetime. She became famous as a talented historian. Nevertheless, the Knowles née Tomn, Lilian Charlotte Anne (1870–1926), economic historian was particularly known for her exceptional fashion sense and her pleasant character.
