Opanas Slastion had a variety of different haircuts during his lifetime. He became famous as an excellent painter, architect, graphic artist, ethnologist and teacher. However, the Ukrainian painter, graphic artist and ethnographer was especially known for his unusual fashion sense and his charming personality. Before his tragic death at age 78 he was frequently talked about in magazines and tabloids due to his exceptionally looks.
